Welcome to our new website |
| Nicolle and Bruce are happy to launch our new Colonial Bay website. After many years of our own self published site we thought the time was right to add some "polish". We'll use this area to share news and events from time to time. We also encourage everyone to check our packages and speacials page as we'll offer a variety of ways to make your stay at Colonial Bay memorable. |
Moose on the loose! |
On Friday March 30th. I was driving through Algonquin Park and saw my first Moose of the season. A small Calf was resting at the side of Highway 60 close to the West Gate. Bruce. |
June |
What a great month so far and we are only 11 days into it. We have been busy hosting guests from around the globe. Folks from Europe, Asia and Japan have made stops at Colonial Bay already this year. Algonquin Park is truly an international draw. The water temperature is approaching the mid 70 degree mark and many people have been swimming, canoing and kayaking. The water ski/tubing boat will be ready to go this week. The Muskoka Triathlon is this weekend. It's a great event to participate in or just be a spectator. |
July 2007 |
| July is well underway and it has been a busy month at Colonial Bay. We continue to have lots of families visit during the summer. Favourite summer activities are campfires, corn roast, and hot dog cooking. The campfire seems to be the social gathering place for every one! The water trampoline and tubing are both active spot too. |
January 2008 |
| Winter is well underway. Snowmobiling is beginning to shape up while cross country and downhill skiing areas are reporting excellent conditions. Always lots to do in Muskoka in the winter. |
