FLOODING ADVISORY/WARNINGS FLOOD AWARENESS - what you need to know to protect you and your family...IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY...DIAL 911 What to do if you are asked to evacuate your home; emergency services will have a good reason for making that request and you shuld heed their advice immediately. Keep listening to your local radio/TV for updates and advisories; Lock your home; If you have time, bring in outdoor equipment/furniture/etc.; Disconnect electrical appliances and turn off utilities at the main switches; Take your emergency survival kit; Take a cellular phone if you have one; Use the travel routes specified by authorities.
