Wilderness Canoe Adventures |
June 30 - Thanksgiving weekend, based on availability. Reservations are required. Groups welcome. Children 12 and under are 1/2 price and welcome on all trips!
All trips listed below will start with instructions so no paddling experience is required and all gear will be provided. All you need is the desire to leave the hectic world behind and travel into the wilderness to recharge and enjoy the peace, tranquility and beauty of your surroundings.
This land is teaming with wildlife and while out on tours participants will keep a constant eye out for the many inhabitants, loons, moose, deer, fox, wolves, bear, lynx, beaver and otter to name the bigger ones. The lake chain that participants paddle is all private property bordering Algonquin Park, it is a sea of untouched wilderness, pristine beauty. Once you leave the trailhead you won’t see another building!
2 NIGHTS AND ½ DAY PADDLE PACKAGE
Perfect for those on a short time frame. Tour will start with an initial instruction session, than head out onto private North Lake to enjoy the remarkable landscape; towering hemlock trees, ragged rock cut cliffs and with any luck some wildlife. Stop part way for a cool drink & some refreshments and a chance for a quick swim on the shores of a small undeveloped island if you desire.
Our ½ Day Paddle Wilderness Canoe Adventures include two nights accommodation in a luxury lakeside cottage with fireplace and Jacuzzi bath and 1/2 day Paddle trip for 2.

A whole day to soak up the magic of the wilderness and experience the joy of paddling. After an instruction session your tour will start on North Lake like the ½ day paddle above, than enjoy the short portage over to Otter Lake and depending on the day possibly a portage to Beaver Lake as well. With nothing around you but the stunning pristine wilderness you will find time stands still. Stop mid day to enjoy a delicious shore lunch on a large rock outcrop, time will allow for a swim or a stroll or just lay back and soak up the silence and sun.

DOGSLED ADVENTURE |
Dogsled Adventure – Get a taste of the wonderful sport of dogsledding! You will be instructed in the basics of driving a dog team, and then introduced to your dog team with 4 or 5 of the affectionate Siberian Huskies. Tours have 2 people per sled with clients taking turns riding and driving (if they wish). A guide is always in the lead with their dogsled team. After instructions you're off exploring the east lake trail up to picturesque Bowen Lake. You will be out on the trail with the dogs for approximately 40-45 minutes.!.
