The Sportsmen's Show will have something for all ages to enjoy, including seminars and presentations all weekend long on various outdoor activities from fishing to Birds of Prey Demonstrations.

46th Annual Haliburton Art and Craft Festival

This juried show, features the very best in Fine Art and Craft in a wide range of media, from Haliburton County and beyond, and attracts over 8000 area residents and visitors.

National Whitewater Kayak & Canoe Championships
July 24-31 2010

Come and see whitewater racing at its best. This competition from Jul.27-Aug.1 includes 4 training days and 3 days of racing (1 downriver and 2 slalom). This event attracts 150 nationally ranked paddlers from across Canada and the US with age group up to master (40+) classes of events. July 24-28 will include an array of paddlesport disciplines competing in boatercross, canoe polo, open canoe slalom, freestyle, marathon canoe racing, sprint canoe/kayak events and a downriver race on the upper Gull.

Art on the Dock

Wilberforce Agricultural Fair
August 6-7, 2010

The Wilberforce Agricultural Fair is alive and well and better than ever!

Experience events like ..

- all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner.

Saturday
- Kid’s passport, minnow races, animal displays, crafts, a nail driving contest, antique farm machinery and more.

Old favourites like the horse draw, goat show, and rope making.

Haliburton Village BIA presents the most colour-full
community event of the season ...

The village of Haliburton will come alive with vibrantly coloured street displays – pumpkins, scarecrows, cornstalks, mums -- continuous entertainment, a bigger-than-ever vintage car display and parade, See the Colours bus ride to Skyline Park, Kids’ Colour Splash create-a-mural presented by the Rails End Gallery’s Art Attack, clowns, buskers, contests, prizes, a corn roast and so much more!

Visitors can enjoy Colourfest 2010 in Haliburton Village on Saturday from 10 to 4, and the Haliburton County Studio Tour in artists’ home-studios on Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 6.

Plus, Colourfest’s Pancake Breakfast is a delicious way to start the day at Haliburton United Church from 8 to 11.

Colourfest 2010 and the Haliburton Studio Tour offer a perfect weekend of fun and art in Ontario.
